| The Door
This 4' x 6' wide piece was made from a reclaimed discarded item. I ground the metal, mixed various pigments in a neutral medium on the back side of the glass. The work was all done in the moment, as with most of my work there is little or no planning other than what I first visualize. It's prepare the piece, pull out the colors, turn up the music and let it fly. This piece is mounted on a stand, framed and back lit with Ultra Bright Leds and remotely turned on/off and dimmed with a key chain remote. |
